Bicentennial National Trail (NSW)

The trail:  The brain-child of RM Williams, this heritage trail runs from Cooktown in northern Queensland to Healesville in Victoria (5330km).  It can be ridden in parts or taken on in its entirety.
Facilities for you: 
Camp sites (mostly with no facilities) along the trail - BYO everything!
Facilities for your horse: 
Your horse will need to nightline, hobble or be fenced in electric tape and you'll need to take a packhorse - but what an adventure!
Other facilities:  Strictly NO DOGS

The trail:  If you love horse riding, then it’s time to saddle up and head for the hills; Terrey Hills that is. Perimeter trail is a popular horse riding track, nestled in the bush just north of Sydney.
